There has never been a time in my life that I have had to drastically redefine how I do my work. With almost every system of the economy going into hibernation I was left with little or no ways to earn a living and take care of my four-month pregnant wife.

I run a graphics design company in downtown Kampala and know better to always leave my personal laptop home just in case of a design emergence faced by any of my clients. COVID-19 created a sense of emergence and quickly I adjusted my company’s mode of operation into remote mode.

I have gone back to the earlier freelancing I used to do, offering graphics design services to anyone that needs them as the corporate institutions I worked with on contract have shut their doors indefinitely. I am however grateful to see an increase in the demand for my services from an online audience that I didn’t think needed them that much.
