I am a student in Berlin and finishing my bachelors degree in a couple of months. I was still traveling in March because my trip was planned long before the coronavirus and there was no way for me to cancel the trip and get my money back. The trip was great and the country that I went to didn’t yet have a lot of restrictions etc. when I was there.

After my trip, I got to go home and visit my family for over a month because there was no requirement to be present in Berlin for my studies. I had online classes during that time and it all worked out pretty well. Therefore I was grateful that I had time to spend with my family and none of us got sick. Now that I am back in Berlin, there are some restrictions, e.g. wearing masks in public transport and stores, but it is for the greater good and therefore doesn’t bother me too much.
